MISSION AND VISION

The mission of Veterans Skydive for Life is to bring awareness to the number of Veteran suicides, and to find a way to bring that number to ZERO!

THE MEANING BEHIND VETERANS SKYDIVE FOR LIFE

"After leaving the service, the thing that I missed the most was the camaraderie. It simply does not exist in the same way outside of the service and many Veterans feel alone and lost. The closest thing that I have found is the connections made and friendships shared at drop zones all across the country.  We have all loved our lives at one point and our goal is to have every Veteran answering the question to, 'How are you doing?' with LOVING LIFE!"

What we need

2020 as for all has been a very rough year for our non profit organization. We are currently making plans for our events to help Veterans for 2021.  Currently we have two supports donating money from their Birthday to help us meet our goals.  You can see board member Andy Vanhandel donation on our page facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/One8884574838  My wife is also supporting our Veterans on her personal page: https://www.facebook.com/amber.osterman.3  If you have a Birthday coming up and would like to help support our Veterans please create a donation link and chose Veterans Skydive For Life to the benefactor.
All money goes into the organization to work on new items for sale, items to improve our reach to Veterans and of course for our yearly event Veterans Wind Therapy where we treat Veterans and their family to a day at the drop zone to include a tandem skydive with video full day of games demonstration skydiving dinner and end of night fire side chat.
Veteran suicide is currently at 20 per day according to the VA.  One of the goals we set when we started VS4Life was to reach 20,000 followers on our Facebook page.  Please check us out.  If you like what we are doing please consider clicking the like/follow button and share our mission with others asking them to do the same.  Our Veterans have given so much for all of us.  It is our time to show them the support they deserve.  LOVING LIFE
