It’s time to book your plane tickets and get your 2021 skydive vacations started, it's winter in the Florida sunshine! The SiSters in Spaceland Winter Escape Boogie is February 26 - 28, 2021 at Skydive Spaceland Clewiston. There will be organizers for belly jumpers and free flyers as well as dinner Saturday night. We’ll be offering an all female canopy class on Friday, slots will be given to women who need the course for their B license first and then anyone interested in honing their canopy piloting skills.

Something else we’ll be organizing are the Star Crest Skydiving awards, these are national awards given to skydivers who are completing their first 8way formation. We’ve been very successful in getting the WSCR, women’s star crest recognition for jumpers who haven’t built an all female 8way formation.
The SiS weekend is Friday - Sunday, registration is $65. The canopy course on Friday will be an additional $50.

Helaine Rumaner:
Helaine began jumping in 1999, she has over 4000 jumps and more than 100 hours of tunnel time.
She’s been training and competing on 4, 8 and 10-way teams for the past 15 years and says she still hasn’t learned half of what there is to know. The skills she does know she is more than happy to share with anyone that wants to fly with her when she is mentoring, coaching or organizing and at “her” tunnel iFly the woodlands.
When she isn’t training or coaching she’s participating in large formation skydives, she’s been on two Women’s World Record skydives in 2005 and 2009. In 2015, she was on the world record 2 Point 202-Way and broke that record in 2017 with a three-point 217 way.

Send it!!Canopy course coach Lori Patalocco- Lori’s first one-on-one canopy course in May 2019 was to learn more about the things she didn’t know about canopy flight. She left with a mission to learn as much as she could about accuracy and by the end of the year, she won the PD Bullseye sport accuracy competition and a PD sponsorship. Lori’s passion for learning and sharing the knowledge she’s acquired led her to pursue the goal of becoming a canopy coach. She became part of The Ratings Center canopy coaching staff and was the coach of the Texas Shootout sport accuracy series. When she’s not coaching, you can find her working to improve her canopy skills, particularly flocking, and preparing to compete in the FLCPA swoop league.
